After a training ride this morning through the rolling hills of Maryland and DC, Spokeswoman Productions met with our Bloomers designer, fellow fashionista Sherry San Miguel. Sherry will be designing the contemporary bloomers that we’ll wear on our ride this summer.

Sherry, a DC-based fashion and graphic designer, will be lending her creative eye to the project and putting a modern spin on the classic bloomer cut. The designs will be debuted at the “Back in Bloomers” ride this summer Aug 12- 19th.

Sherry, who was already bringing ideas to the table (literally and metaphorically) at Cafe Dos Gringos, will no doubt be making fashion headlines. Don’t be surprised if Sherry’s designs start a trend, and you see her bloomers in stores later this year.
